All six states in New England offer many different vacation opportunities. All have lovely inns and bed & breakfast’s. A great way to save on lodging is to try a vacation rental and rent a condo or home which would give you more space and a kitchen. This is an ideal option for families.

Do you have any specific reccomendations for bed and breakfasts that are close to mountain resorts? I am headed over next month, and still have not booked a place to stay. I might be too late, but am wondering if there were any suggestions out there. thanks!

New England offers a fabulous place close to home for a wonderful vacation. You may want to start in NYC, renting in Williamsburg NY for a taste of big city life, then spread outward and explore the rural areas.
There are a lot of great resorts in New England but personally I love the Rocky Mountains. I’d say forget the east coast and hit up the best snow on earth over in Utah. There’s nothing like the fresh powder that you could be carving in Utah!
